The board of the Rescue Mission has graciously allowed me to do a summer study break after seven years of service. On my summer break I will be attending a class on non-profit leadership at Harvard Business School, working on a new book, doing team meetings off site with the Rescue Mission staff, and taking two weeks of vacation. I’ll also be doing some small service projects for friends. The goal of my study break is to do something different, break out of the routine that I’ve been doing for this last stretch, and do things that will rejuvenate my soul and help me to grow as a person.
As such, blog will be on a summer hiatus while I am on Study Break and will return with new material after the Labor Day weekend. Some re-posting of my ‘best-of” blogs will be on my twitter and facebook feed, if you’re interested.
